An Indian taxi driver makes friends with a blues musician and his roommate in Chicago. They travel together to the musician's home town by the Mississippi River. The landscape brings back the Indian's childhood memories for its similarity to the Delta river, where he was raised to the point that the Indian starts believing his new friends to be characters from the memories of his past.
