Paige Fleming is an aspiring young writer who loves to fictionalize her life in the twisted plots of her stories. Her father, her on-again-off-again boyfriend and her favourite teacher all play recurring roles in her imaginative creations. Despite her father's workplace troubles and the added responsibilities she's had to assume since her mother's death, life for Paige is moving along at a steady pace-until her estranged older brother, Trevor, suddenly reappears after a long absence.
