An otaku (Japanese for geek) saves a young woman from a drunken assailant on a commuter train, and instantly falls in love with her. He later receives a thank-you message and gift from the woman, and proceeds to ask his internet buddies how to go about asking her out. Encouraged by their support, "Train Man" undergoes a makeover for the first date in his life.
