In "This Is Dr. Keener," Dr. Elaine Keener battles her mother and waits for a male colleague to call. "Fantasies About Rebecca" deals with a woman who finds out that she is pregnant by her married lover. "Someone for Rose" centers on single mother named Rose who becomes obsessed with her new neighbor. "Good Night Lilly, Good Night Christine" details the relationship between Christine and her critically ill lover, Lilly. "Love Waits for Kathy" follows Detective Kathy Farber as she arrives at a crime scene to find that the corpse is that of her old friend Carmen.
