synopsis
Criminals Jake Finney and Steve West are on their way to be executed, both captured by the same clever sheriff. But Jake has plans of his own. After whittling a realistic-looking wooden gun, Jake stages his escape, taking Steve with him. The two bandits head for the Canadian border. But as they travel on, their destination never seems to get any nearer.
