synopsis
Oz is a nice-guy dentist who is beaten down by his wife Sophie and his mother-in-law who constantly demean him. Oz is scrambling to dig himself out of the state of financial ruin that his father-in-law has left in, finally coming to the gloomy realization that he is worth more dead than alive -- a sentiment that takes on a whole new meaning when mobster, and celebrated hit-man, Jimmy 'The Tulip' Tudeski moves in next store.

"The Whole Nine Yards" bears all the trademarks of a standard shoot-'em up mob comedy. There's a clueless straight man, a funny mobster, lots of slapstick and a commercial outlook familiar to anyone who saw "Analyze This" or "Mickey Blue Eyes." It's also likable, light entertainment that highlights a round of zany, comic performances from an impressive cast.
