Simon and Nick are roomates in Alberta, Canada. They work in a burger joint and hang out at the local diner with friends, arguing about the minutae of pop culture. When Kurt Cobain of Nirvana dies, they decide to travel to Seattle to join the vigils there. Simon's brother Jase and his girlfriend come along for the ride, and the tensions between the brothers erupt into confrontation.
