In the spirit of solidarity and commitment to the cause of the Frente Polisario--the Saharan Arabian Democratic Republic's fight for a land they consider theirs after having been occupied first by Spain and then by Morocco--comes the story of a young Saharan living in Paris who goes back to the desert to visit his people and attend a family celebration. There, he faces the complex reality and the hard facts of the life of the nomad tribes, their struggle to establish their right to exist and the living memory of their cultural and social roots.
