When Sol and Halil meet and fall in love, they marry and settle down in Reykjavik with their two daughters. Years later, the marriage dissolves, and Halil moves back to his native Turkey. But when Sol sends her daughters to visit their father, they never return. An arduous and heart-wrenching custody battle begins, with Sol travelling to Turkey and fighting in the courts to win her daughters back.
