The Shadow Spirit

Used book seller and onmyouji (specialist in magic and divination) Kyogukudo join forces with Private Eye Enokizu--who has the special power to see into people's memories--writer Sekiguchi and police officer Kiba. A series of stuffed boxes appear in post-war Tokyo, all containing the mutilated bodies of attractive young girls. The group believes the boxes may be the result of a mysterious psychic who prays to the boxes and an even weirder, box shaped like, building. The search for answers gets even more heated when the daughter of a famous ex-actress suddenly disappears.
