Film.com's FREE movie of the week is "Love the Hard Way." Oscar-winner Adrien Brody and Charlotte Ayanna star in this drama about a thief who falls for a curious, beautiful young woman. As their intimacy grows, a slick cop (Pam Greer) is closing in.
The story is based on Burnett's 1911 novel, about an orphaned girl who discovers a secret garden in her uncle's home, into which she is adopted. The girl, Mary Lennox, learns about life with the help of her young cousin, a boy who has been hidden away.
