The misadventures of three yobbos who, against all odds, strike it rich – sort of. The trio ("The B'ack Tar Gang") is led by the easygoing Lotto who also happens to be the unluckiest man alive. Wooky is the Gang’s thinker, a rabid talker who believes everything he reads – as long as it is printed in tabloid form. Sue is the gourmet, and quite possibly the laziest human being ever to walk the planet. The Gang spends weekends puttering around a prospecting claim – clearly just an excuse to escape their wives and drink beer. All that changes when Sue accidentally uncovers a motherlode – a huge chunk of gold. Like all sudden windfalls, this is a cursed blessing, for if anyone can screw up a bonanza, it would be these guys.
