An American runs a large plantation in the Amazonian jungle, but is so hardened by his years in the jungle that he heaps hostility upon his new wife who arrives by proxy. But, soon a huge threat appears on the horizon--a giant swarm of ants is ravaging everything in their sight and is making its way toward his plantation. He must think quick to save everything he's built up and in the process finds a way to love his wife.
