After involvement in one of the financial scandals of 1987, Lester, a Jewish businessman has fled the country. In his absence, four of his WASP Ivy League classmates get together where Lester is the main topic of conversation. Through this conversation the audience learns how Lester not only manipulated his friends, but how he, in turn, was manipulated by them.
