Explores a seldom discussed moment of Canadian history known as "The Conquest of 1838," when revolutionary leader Francois-Xavier Bouchard crossed the border into Canada, bringing with him a renewed passion for liberty and democracy as well as the belief that supportive Americans would help the Patriots in defeating the British forces.
