Film.com's FREE movie of the week is "Love the Hard Way." Oscar-winner Adrien Brody and Charlotte Ayanna star in this drama about a thief who falls for a curious, beautiful young woman. As their intimacy grows, a slick cop (Pam Greer) is closing in.
Felix Webb is a top British playwright who has just nabbed rising Hollywood star, Robin Grange, for the lead in his new play, "The Hit Man." At the same time, Felix's wife discovers his affair with the play's leading actress, Hilary. The duplicitous Robin makes a deal with Felix: for a sum, he will seduce Ellen so she will leave the marriage of her own accord. The plan works out, but not according to the original arrangement. Ellen does fall for Robin, but soon Robin's attentions turn to Hilary.
