synopsis
In 1977, 18-year-old Phoebe O'Connor retraces her older sister Faith's steps through Europe in order to uncover the motives for her sister's suicide. In the course of her travels, she inadvertently meets and falls in love with Wolf, her sister's old boyfriend who may hold the key to the mystery of her suicide.

It's 1977 San Francisco - the flower children have all grown up and Ronnie Reagan is just around the corner.
