synopsis
Mike Max is a Hollywood producer whose stock in trade is the ultra-violent thriller. It is a genre that has made Mike rich and has kept his wife Paige in a luxurious lifestyle. Ray Bering is a surveillance expert working for the government whose is attempting to blanket LA with cameras to record street crime which he hopes will drastically cut police response time. Their lives cross when Ray's cameras record Mike's brutal abduction. Suddenly, many people are affected by Mike's disappearance including his wife, who was set to leave him, but now is in a position to inherit his millions. Cat, a stuntwoman who worked for Max, starts to re-evalute her profession while gangsta rap producer Six O One begins to remove the violent content in his music. As Ray studies the tape of Mike's violent abduction, repeatedly magnifying it and clarifying it, he discovers what really happened to Max and the role he played in making it happen.
