Film.com's FREE movie of the week is "Nosferatu: A Symphony of Horror." This 1922 classic of cinema based on Bram Stoker's "Dracula" (but with names changed) directed by F.W. Murnau and starring Max Schrek in one of films most famous and frightening make-up jobs.
A lonely mountain dweller, ostracized by the locals, sells his most valued possession, a milk cow, to purchase medicine for his mother, a former prostitute dying of syphilis, only to discover her already dead upon his return. Tormented by the life of abuse he's endured, he retreats from the outside world.
