Film.com's FREE movie of the week is "Love the Hard Way." Oscar-winner Adrien Brody and Charlotte Ayanna star in this drama about a thief who falls for a curious, beautiful young woman. As their intimacy grows, a slick cop (Pam Greer) is closing in.
After recieving a "Dear Jane" letter from her fiance in Korea, a young woman accepts a blind date and, at the end of the evening, finds herself in the man's apartment, nearly blind drunk, fending off her suitor's advances with a poker before passing out for the evening. The next day it's discovered that the man is dead. Though the young woman believes she's the killer, it turns out another woman had entered the apartment later that night.
