A reality-based drama about two 12-year-old girls who were locked up from birth by their father. The family members play themselves in the film which concerns the reasons for the girls' incarceration, namely the fact that women are treated as property and therefore should be locked away before marriage to avoid learning about their own sexuality--represented allegorically by the titular fruit.
