In Waterford, Ireland in the 1780s, an association of young Irish bachelors abduct rich would-be brides to guarantee their futures. After first charming the daughters of wealthy aristocrats face to face, this "abduction club" kidnaps them, giving them the night to prove why the girls should marry them.
