Film.com's FREE movie of the week is "Nosferatu: A Symphony of Horror." This 1922 classic of cinema based on Bram Stoker's "Dracula" (but with names changed) directed by F.W. Murnau and starring Max Schrek in one of films most famous and frightening make-up jobs.
After losing a child a few years before, Paul and Caroline struggle to save their crippled marriage. Caroline, blind since birth, sublimates her grief by voraciously tackling the career obstacles compounded by her disability and the competitive professional environment of New York City. Paul, on the other hand, gives into his self-destructive impulses, and while his wife shines as a lawyer, he sinks further into incapacitating depression.
