Jean and his lover Sylvia flee from Paris to Lima, Peru, with a stolen diamond pendant. Attempting to sell the jewel is more difficult than the couple expect, as neither speaks Spanish. But when they meet another expatriot French couple, wealthy Franck and Murielle, they think they may have found a solution. Jean and Sylvia quickly befriend the couple, and begin to set their scheme into motion.
