Set somewhere in Central Europe, the tale of a young prince, Jan, who is sent to a sedate seaside hotel to review for his exams. During his stay at the hotel, Jan is befriended by the intriguing inn keeper, who acting as Jan's guide, plunges the prince into a fantastic universe where bizarre Gothic palaces are pierced by mighty stalagmites and haunting music echoes round the ruins left from some past cataclysm.
