Film.com's FREE movie of the week is "Love the Hard Way." Oscar-winner Adrien Brody and Charlotte Ayanna star in this drama about a thief who falls for a curious, beautiful young woman. As their intimacy grows, a slick cop (Pam Greer) is closing in.
Paco is a teenager with a chip on his shoulder. His life with his father Alvaro, now happily married to his second wife Viviana, is rife with alienation and resentment. His biological mother disappeared from his life when he was still a child, leaving Paco with a mongoose tattoo on his forearm and lots of questions. Alvaro agrees willingly when Paco decides to set off in quest to seek out some resolution regarding his mother and her dissappearance. This excursion into a past turns out to be fraught with many painful truths.
