Sara is a sheltered, uptight 3rd grade "Idaho School Teacher of the Year" who thinks she knows exactly how life should be lived. Her perfectly ordered world collapses when her boyfriend wants a leave of absence from their stifling relationship and she has a run in with a huge, tattooed biker who turns up with one of her students as his "Show and Tell" subject. Suddenly alone, Sara fends off her TV talk show celebrity sister’s conservative advice and opens her mind to the impossibility that she is oddly attracted to sensitive tattoo artist Virgil.
