What do you do when you're a complete outsider at your Southern California high school and senior trip is to Costa Rica for a surfing contest? You go to Surf School. The outcast seniors, led by Jordan, an all-American who would be in the cool clique, but has been receiving a rough reception since moving to Laguna from Maryland, have a plan. Not only will they enroll in a surf school--run, of course, by a water-logged and delusional former surf pro--they will then crash the high school surf championships and prevail.
