Film.com's FREE movie of the week is "Nosferatu: A Symphony of Horror." This 1922 classic of cinema based on Bram Stoker's "Dracula" (but with names changed) directed by F.W. Murnau and starring Max Schrek in one of films most famous and frightening make-up jobs.
Romano, recently healed after a terrible military accident, returns to his hometown in Baguio to live in seclusion. Things change after Louella pays a visit and suggests a peace offering, due to a family feud years back, by helping Romano's blind sister Isabel with her eye operation. He accepts the offer and they go to Manila with Louella. Romano has a premonition that their van will encounter a horrific accident. They seek help from a local necromancer and it is confirmed that the ghosts Romano sees are their "sundo" and they can not escape their macabre fate.
