Outside a city, during a war, Niko, a young man on the run, stumbles across three others in a bunker. They capture and torture him, but then decide to allow him to join them. They claim to be awaiting orders from a distant HQ, but there are no signs that they are telling the truth. Niko becomes a challenge to the absolute authority of their leader, Leo, and the group begins to crack under the pressure.
