Alice embarks on a crusade to lose her virginity. She's frustrated by a lack of available men and an unfortunate habit of breaking into a sneezing fit when lust happens. She suspects she has lost her best chance at true love when she lets a handsome stranger get away from her. She decides to search for him, meanwhile considering her Spanish teacher, a charity worker and a poet as possible boyfriends. Her gay roommate Jimmy provides stability and advice, but his relationship isn't as solid as he thinks it is either.
