It's a simple formula. If you send me free stuff I'm waaaaay more likely to like you. I've been that way since I was hatched. For instance, today I received the Repulsor Power Iron Man in the mail. Now, I factored in the following before I got truly worked up about this:

1. It's now April and we're only a month away from what could be the first blockbuster of the year. Iron Man has some great buzz around it right now and the trailer looks solid.
2. Nothing good has come out in... well... forever. My friends and family call me for movie suggestions and I'm forced to recommend they stay home and talk about each other's feelings. It's terrible.
3. May could has a movie of note each of the five weekends:
Iron Man (May2nd),
Speed Racer (May 9th),
The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Capsian (May 16th),
Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull (May 23rd),
Sex and the City (May 30th).
For the first time in months people are going to have actually heard of the movies I've seen lately.
