When Loa returns to her home in a small fishing community in Iceland, her psychiatric doctor, Cora, attempts to bring her back to France for treatment. However, she is met with resistance from her doctor and her husband who do not believe she has any problems. Attempts to smuggle her out of the country to complete her treatment are foiled.
