synopsis
Caleb, a sculptor, is caught in the arduous struggle to maintain his artistic integrity and still make a buck. He is hired by a film director to construct a prosthesis for a certain part of the female anatomy, much to the disapproval of his highly critical and politically correct girlfriend. As their relationship begins to disintegrate, Caleb, to earn some extra money, tries to rent out his tiny guest house. A mysterious woman agrees to rent it solely on the basis of his voice on the phone. The woman rekindles his faith in his own abilities, but his girlfriend makes a scene revealing the faults of their relationship, as the woman watches in awe. As a result the two woman decide to become roommates, abandoning Caleb, who finds his life reduced to the basics, his own guest house and some clay.
