Soft Shell Man

Alex is a globe-trotting underwater photographer in his early thirties, but with a compulsive need to be liked which gives him the air of perpetual adolescence. After a diving accident in which he briefly loses consciousness, he is thrown off kilter, a situation not helped when he is forced to make a reluctant stopover in Montreal. Once there, his tendency to ladle on the charm without discrimination means that in less than a week he is involved in a complicated series of relationships, romantic and otherwise.
