Film.com's FREE movie of the week is "Nosferatu: A Symphony of Horror." This 1922 classic of cinema based on Bram Stoker's "Dracula" (but with names changed) directed by F.W. Murnau and starring Max Schrek in one of films most famous and frightening make-up jobs.
Jean is the patriarch of a suburban French family, complete with wife in therapy, law student son and television-loving daughter. When he brings home a rat, the family undergoes huge upheavals. Sophie throws herself out of a window, is confined to a wheelchair and thus finds her sex life transformed. Her straight-laced brother starts hosting orgies in his room, and their mother changes her ideas about parental responsibility.
