Film.com's FREE movie of the week is "Love the Hard Way." Oscar-winner Adrien Brody and Charlotte Ayanna star in this drama about a thief who falls for a curious, beautiful young woman. As their intimacy grows, a slick cop (Pam Greer) is closing in.
She is called Ah because that is the only sound she can mutter. Although her hearing is perfect, she has been mute from birth. Before his death, Ah's father arranges for her marriage to a brutish bigamist Miguel. Ah's friend Mayang, Miguel's other wife, agrees to let the newly married couple live in her home, with violent consequences.
