Film.com's FREE movie of the week is "Love the Hard Way." Oscar-winner Adrien Brody and Charlotte Ayanna star in this drama about a thief who falls for a curious, beautiful young woman. As their intimacy grows, a slick cop (Pam Greer) is closing in.
Ana is fed up with her husband's introverted attitude, which has resulted in a less-than-happy sex life. When her ex-lover Tomas returns from abroad, she invites him to come and live with them. Meanwhile, across the hall, Andrea has the opposite problem: her husband Miguel is having too much sex, but none of it with her. He has installed an old flame Maria into their apartment, mirroring Ana's affair with Tomas. The warring couples split, and soon a new living arrangement is worked out, with celibate Carlos and Andrea finding solace together.
