Film.com's FREE movie of the week is "Nosferatu: A Symphony of Horror." This 1922 classic of cinema based on Bram Stoker's "Dracula" (but with names changed) directed by F.W. Murnau and starring Max Schrek in one of films most famous and frightening make-up jobs.
A new elementary school teacher who wants his students to learn the real connection between life and food proposes an experiment for his sixth-grade class. They will adopt a piglet and care for it over the course of a year, but at the end of the year, the pig will be eaten. The students eagerly accept the challenge. They name the piglet “P-Chan,” and take turns with the chores of brushing and feeding it. But over the year, they become more and more attached to P-Chan and the question of the his fate becomes a troubling subject.
