University life has just begun for five kiwi students. First challenge: find somewhere cheap to live. They soon discover a deserted mansion -- free rent, free electricity, freedom! But their squat hides a secret... a crop of marijuana growing in the basement. Obviously abandoned, it must be worth a fortune. There's only one sensible thing to do -- enroll in "Crime 101" and become amateur drug lords for a day. Problem is the owner of the drugs returns. When he sees he's been cleaned out, he doesn't just want revenge, he wants his money. The flatmates panic and lock him in the basement. But holding an "accidental" hostage places these students way out of their depth. As the pressure mounts, their shaky relationship begins to implode.
