A wealthy Japanese industrialist becomes increasingly obsessed with the fear of atomic radiation. He desperately attempts to move his family to Brazil for safety, but coming up against resistance, he is denied that right in Family Court. As his obsession grows, he eventually is committed to an asylum, where he finds contentment.
