In the torrential rains of 1949, Holocaust refugees settle Kibbutz Megido as residents of the Arab village of Lajun leave the olive groves and despair of ever returning. In this time of upheaval and transition, the two groups may seem markedly different, but for their connection to this one same plot of ground.
