There are rumors that it really has happened: in 1971 Leonid Brezhnev went to visit Moldavia where he has vanished for three days. He's quietly reappeared without a word and went on to India. Nobody knew what's happened to him during those days. This is the filmmaker's own version of the events in which "Comrade General Secretary" was plunged into a curious love adventure with a criminal twist.
