His pet theory is that if everyone in the country prostituted themselves, the Philippines would be financially solvent in no time. His meditation ends when he picks up Ditas, the latest teenaged recruit at the brothel where he grew up and now works, who plans to whore until she finishes high school. It is not exactly love at first sight, but there is a connection – one that will explode their carefully laid plans.
