Film.com's FREE movie of the week is "Nosferatu: A Symphony of Horror." This 1922 classic of cinema based on Bram Stoker's "Dracula" (but with names changed) directed by F.W. Murnau and starring Max Schrek in one of films most famous and frightening make-up jobs.
Three stories which, each in its own distinct visual style, explore themes of moral and social transgression: "Hero," shot in a mock TV-documentary style depicts a gruesome patricide; "Horror," filmed like a 1950s B-movie tells the tale of a mad science experiment gone horribly wrong; and "Homo" explores sexuality among two prison inmates.
