Film.com's FREE movie of the week is "Nosferatu: A Symphony of Horror." This 1922 classic of cinema based on Bram Stoker's "Dracula" (but with names changed) directed by F.W. Murnau and starring Max Schrek in one of films most famous and frightening make-up jobs.
A butcher from New York under the witness protection program in Arizona, murders his philandering wife, cuts her into seven pieces and buries her in the New Mexico desert. A blind woman trips over the dead wife's manicured hand and in the fall her sight is restored. She takes the hand to a local priest, who displays it in the church as a sacred relic, which draws thousands of miracle-seeking tourists to the sleepy southwestern town.
