Film.com's FREE movie of the week is "Love the Hard Way." Oscar-winner Adrien Brody and Charlotte Ayanna star in this drama about a thief who falls for a curious, beautiful young woman. As their intimacy grows, a slick cop (Pam Greer) is closing in.
Set in medieval times, a comedy-drama about a woman named Carla, who travels around in the 1480s dressed as a man named Carol Marcellini, and hatches a plan to rid a wealthy mayor of some loot. Part of her scheme is her intention to resurrect everyone who's died in the town in the past 10 years, but problems arise when she falls for the mayor's son who insists her promise be kept so he can see his late fiancee again.
