Gregoire Jeancour is an important industrialist who has just been released following his imprisonment for an unspecified financial crime. His friends and family -- including his brother, a TV personality who hosts a hard-hitting current affairs interview program -- urge him to return to public life, but he's a changed man, unable to communicate or connect with anyone except a lovely young woman who works in the hair salon his bored wife frequents and whose own boyfriend, coincidentally, was released from prison the same day as Gregoire.
