Film.com's FREE movie of the week is "Love the Hard Way." Oscar-winner Adrien Brody and Charlotte Ayanna star in this drama about a thief who falls for a curious, beautiful young woman. As their intimacy grows, a slick cop (Pam Greer) is closing in.
Minnesota college freshman Wyatt is frustrated that his long-time girlfriend, Kimberly, won't "go all the way" with him. Assuming that she is cheating on him, Wyatt gets drunk at a local strip bar, meets a fellow student/exotic dancer named Ivy, and decides to write her a vicious break-up letter and sends it via overnight mail. After sobering up, a conversation with Kimberly reveals that she indeed has been faithful, which leads Wyatt and Ivy on a wild goose chase to get the letter back before it gets to Kimberly's doorstep.
