Film.com's FREE movie of the week is "Love the Hard Way." Oscar-winner Adrien Brody and Charlotte Ayanna star in this drama about a thief who falls for a curious, beautiful young woman. As their intimacy grows, a slick cop (Pam Greer) is closing in.
The documentary grants intimate access to Otar Iosseliani's artistic process, following him through the production of his latest feature, "Jardins En Automne". With a cigarette perpetually extending from his long, narrow face, Iosseliani casually welcomes the audience into his inner working world and a creative mind crammed full of images and ideas. Wine and vodka flow freely, and arguments range from heated to jovial as he works closely with storyboard artists, production designers and his longtime cinematographer, painstakingly mapping and timing each scene.
